Madison warehouses sell for $16.5M

About two weeks after spending about $57.54 million for multiple East Nashville warehouses, Austin-based private equity firm Stonelake Capital Partners has spent an additional $16.5 million for Madison property, according to a Davidson County Register of Deeds document. The purchase includes two warehouses, one at 211 Nesbitt Lane and another at 225 Nesbitt Lane. Both buildings are occupied by U.S. Lumber.

Hines Global Income Trust paid $145 million for the 206,000-square-foot tower at 4200 Westheimer Road, which is home to Chicago-based JLL’s (NYSE: JLL) Houston office. JLL represented Austin-based Stonelake Capital Partners, the developer behind 200 Park Place, in the sale of the building.

Stonelake To Break Ground on 222-Unit Apartment Complex in East Austin

The East Austin, Texas, market continues to be a destination for real estate investment, with a local developer planning to break ground on the second phase of a 530-unit apartment project after receiving a construction loan. Austin-based Stonelake Capital Partners will begin construction on Trailhead East, a 222-unit apartment complex at the corner of Shady Lane and Bolm Road. The apartment complex is the second phase of a multifamily development that Stonelake began working on just before the pandemic. Phase one, a 308-unit apartment complex known as Trailhead, came online in summer of 2020. Trailhead is 96% leased, according to a Stonelake statement.
